Every Thursday night at 9 until recently, Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT had presented Bud Francis and The Memories of Elvis program. On February 26th, Bud had an in-studio guest, Bill Turner of Blue Smoke. Previously, Turner was lead guitarist for "Bill Haley's Comets."
For over three decades, Bill has headed "Blue Smoke." With a repertoire of more than 400 tunes, Blue Smoke has performed over 7,500 live shows. When the Comets were re-grouped recently, Bill Turner was asked back in the fold but he elected to stay with his own band.
Last year, Justin Negraval and Zanzibar Entertainment co-produced the "Elvis Megashow." Justin has been accepted into the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers and he's a member of the New Jersey Historical Society.
