Standing tall among the rest is oldies expert Corky Warren, Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT's Special Events Coordinator. He's also the host of "The Time Machine" every Saturday evening right after Johnny Lerro.
Corky is seen in this spring picture with Paul Norton, who was inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Hall of Fame a few years ago. Paul worked for Channel 6 and the WFIL radio stations. He was a rock jock on weekends on Famous 56 when they first went rock and roll. Norton hosted many programs on Channel 6 including "The Street Where You Live" with his co-host Larry Ferrari. In his later years at WPVI, he was a staff announcer and the producer of "Inside Story" which at that time was hosted by Marc Howard. Paul has been retired for several years and has taught at a local university and was recently reappointed to a statewide position by the Governor of Delaware.
