WVLT's Media Consultant for the last four years is Gerry Wilkinson. He's pictured here with the legendary Tom Brookshier, former Philadelphia Eagles footabll player and former Channel 10 and CBS-TV sportscaster.
Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT's support staff is top notch, just like our air personalities. Gerry is the current president of the 280 member "Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia." A walking-talking encyclopedia about Delaware Valley broadcasting, Wilkinson is the consultant on the latest WHYY-TV venture. Gerry Wilkinson worked there twice (1980-1982 and 1998-2001) as a television producer. This new broadcast is about Philadelphia's TV Children's show hosts like our own Bill "Wee Willie" Webber, Sally Starr, Chief Halftown and many others. The program airs on Channel 12 in March and will be broadcast state-wide by Pennsylvania's Public Television Network. The program will be produced by WHYY's Ed Cunningham, a listener to Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT!
