Ernest Wright and Little Anthony whose name is Jerome Anthony Gourdine were childhood friends. Both were part of the group, "The Chesters" which eventually became "Little Anthony and the Imperials."
Sammy Strain joined the group in 1961 but Little Anthony had already departed to pursue a solo career. Two years later, Anthony returned. All three pictured above performed on such original hits as On The Outside Looking In and Goin' Out of My Head. Pete Michaels & Company is heard every Tuesday at 9 pm.
