King Arthur has been a force in the music industry since the early ‘60s. He actually started as a kid of 12 years old with his first record hop in a “Y” with a bunch of kids from the neighborhood. As he got older he knew the love he had of the music would always be there and wanted to share it with the world . He started on radio on WCAM in Camden, NJ. In the late 60’s he got into some managing of groups and at that time, he managed a group in the Philadelphia area, called The Destinations. They recorded “I Can’t Leave You” under King Arthur’s label, Ando Records.
He was behind the scenes many years managing, producing and running his deejay business. In the 90’s he went back to his love of radio. Now King Arthur can be heard LIVE every Sunday night from 9 to 11PM right here on Cruisin 92.1 WVLT!
