ANOTHER CRUISIN' 92.1 - WVLT GAME CRUISIN' 92.1 PLANETOIDS
Here's a fun little game you can play right here on WVLT.com for free! It's called CRUISIN' 92.1 PLANETOIDS!
It's quite simple. You are the pilot of the Cruisin' 92.1 spaceship. However, you have just entered into a rare planetoid field. In order to protect you and your crew, you must steer your craft through the planetoids.
To move your vessel, use the arrows on the right, lower side of your keyboard. Directions are on the startup screen. You can spin left or right and accelerate. If you hit CONTROL (CTRL), it will fire your laser weapon.
By the way, the picture used for the background of the game is real, courtesy of NASA. It is of the nearby dwarf galaxy NGC 1569 which is a "hotbed of vigorous star birth activity." The galaxy's "star factories" are also manufacturing brilliant blue star clusters. This galaxy had a sudden onset of star birth about 25 million years ago, which subsided about the time the very earliest human ancestors appeared on Earth.
