On Wednesday, January 21, 2004, several of the WVLT team lunched at the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia meeting at Williamson's Restaurant in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

The speaker was Republican Philadelphia City Councilman-at-Large Frank Rizzo, son of the late mayor. WVLT personnel on hand were Lou Costello (heard Daily from 10 am to 1 pm & Wednesdays from 7 to 9 pm on Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT) and Johnny Lerro (Saturdays at 6 pm). Also in attendance was WVLT/WMIZ Consultant Gerry Wilkinson and former Cruisin' 92.1 air talent Dave Michaels.

The Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia is an organization made up of over 300 Delaware Valley broadcasters including a dozen from Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT!
