On Saturday, January 25, 2003, WVLT's own Sally Starr turned 80 years old. It all took place at Babe's Village Inn, a family restaurant in Minotola, NJ. 300 fans came to wish Sally another 80 years. Another 100 people were turned away at the door. Starr had a great time singing and greeting her Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT audience.
The one and only, the Legendary Sally Starr was heard on Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT every Sunday from 12 noon to 3 pm for years!
