About The Host

Derick I. Glenn (AKA Derick "D" Clown)began his career in the entertainment business directly out of high school in 1990. Upon graduating from Millville High School, Derick took a trip south to the Circus capital of the world, Sarasota Florida. There Derick would be transformed into "Derick "D Clown". He returned to South Jersey and began performing for private events and large festivals. In 1994 Derick was hired by Trump Entertainment to perform at the TAJ MAHAL Casino and resort in Atlantic City. Soon after, Derick's ability to dance and sing while walking on stilts would take him to hundreds of locations including Theme Parks, Casinos, Concerts, Major sporting events, MTV Spring Break, and more. Derick continued to add excitement to his routine and in 2001 he released his first album titled "Get Down, Get Down, with Derick D Clown on the Bigfish label. Derick took his show on the road and toured for 2 years throughout the country performing for young and old. Derick, his wife and 3 children would soon decide that it was time to end the tour and focus on the family,so Derick and his family began producing large events and working them together. In 2010 Derick began to work for the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs at the Vineland Memorial Veterans home, in the activities department. Derick soon decided that the public needed to get more involved with the veterans in their community, so he produced the radio show "Celebrating Our Veterans" which can now be heard Saturdays on 92.1 WVLT. Derick and his family are award winning performers and just recently returned from a performance on Carnival Cruise Lines. You can contact Derick at 856-305-7476 or email him at celebravet@aol.com
