Joe Terranova, Dead At 78
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Joe Terranova (Joe Terry), baritone and one of the original founding members of “Danny & the Juniors”. Formed in 1955, they are most widely recognized for their 1957 hit single "At the Hop". Joe has been a long-time member of our Cruisin’ 92.1 family, along side Frank Maffei, with their radio show, “Rock & Roll is Here to Stay....the Radio Show!” which airs Saturdays from 5-6pm. Two Car Clubs Receive Achievement Awards!
Two South Jersey car clubs were recently cited for their contributions to the canteen restoration project at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home. Plaques were given to representatives of South Jersey Cruisers Association and Nostalgia Knights Classic Car Club. Accepting these awards are (WVLT radio personality)Ben Notaro and Bill Nese for their respective organizations.
